Even after you get rid of the cold, the dry cough may still last for several weeks. And it’s pretty annoying and pretty painful sometimes. The curious thing about beer is that you can drink it in a pub or you can prepare a cough syrup with it. Who said beer is bad alcohol? It actually cures several diseases, and I wash my hair with it, too!
– Half a cup of sugar
– 2 cups of beer
– A bottle or a glass jar with lid
Method of preparation:
Melt the sugar at low heat for a few minutes. Once the sugar is caramelized, pour over the beer.
Continue to boil the mixture for another 15-20 minutes, stirring continuously for a homogeneous consistency. Take the pot from the fire when the preparation gets the color and consistency of honey.
Move the syrup into the glass jar and store it into the pantry in the dark and cool place. Consume a spoon a day from this preparation to get rid of that stubborn cough.
